By placing an order with Spotted Moon Leather, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before ordering.

1. Custom Orders

1.1 Order Process

  • All products are made to order and customized to customer specifications
  • Orders are confirmed once payment is received
  • Customer is responsible for providing accurate customization details (names, colors, specifications)
  • Spotted Moon Leather will confirm customization details before production begins

1.2 Customization

  • Custom stamped text must be provided by customer at time of order
  • Color selections must be chosen from available options
  • Spotted Moon Leather reserves the right to suggest alternatives if requested customization is not feasible

1.3 Production Time

  • Standard production time is 5 business days from order confirmation
  • Production time does not include shipping time
  • Rush orders may be available for an additional fee - contact for details
  • Delays due to material availability or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change without notice for future orders
  • Confirmed orders will honor the price agreed upon at time of order

2.2 Payment

  • Payment is required in full before production begins
  • Accepted payment methods: Shopify, Venmo, Zelle, cash
  • Orders will not begin production until payment is received and cleared

2.3 Sales Tax

  • Sales tax will be collected as required by Colorado state law

3. Product Quality and Materials

3.1 Handmade Nature

  • All products are handmade and hand-stamped
  • Slight variations in stamping, stitching, and finish are normal and part of the handmade character
  • No two items will be exactly identical
  • Product photos are representative but actual products may vary slightly

3.2 Materials

  • We use quality leather and materials suitable for equestrian/working use
  • Leather is a natural material and may have natural variations in color, texture, and markings
  • Colors may appear differently on different screens/devices

3.3 Care and Use

  • Products are designed for normal equestrian/barn use
  • Customer is responsible for proper care and maintenance of leather goods
  • Leather products should be kept dry when not in use and conditioned regularly

4. Liability and Warranties

4.1 Product Use

  • Products are designed for equestrian use with appropriate safety practices
  • Customer assumes all risk associated with use of products
  • Spotted Moon Leather is not liable for injury, damage, or loss resulting from use or misuse of products
  • Customer is responsible for inspecting products before each use and discontinuing use if damage is present

4.2 Warranty

  • We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship! Products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from delivery
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, or lack of proper care
  • Warranty remedy is limited to repair or replacement at seller's discretion

4.3 Limitation of Liability

  • Spotted Moon's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

5. Changes to Terms

  • Spotted Moon reserves the right to modify these terms at any time
  • Changes will apply to orders placed after the modification date
  • Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms

Acceptance

By placing an order with Spotted Moon Leather, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
