About Us - Origin Story

I created this business based on a need I had with my own horses. It started as a fun way to "bling" out my personal horses' lead ropes. Fun fact, the very first one I made was for my horse Luna. I painstakingly marked out the letters one by one, only to discover that I had placed the "N" sideways, making my horse's name "LUZA"! 

From those humble beginnings, I quickly realized that these lead ropes would be incredibly helpful at a large facility. As a working student at a dressage barn, I was acutely aware how easy it was to get lead ropes mixed up. While it's not a huge deal to use the wrong rope, we all know that every little detail matters - in both handling horses, riding, and beautiful hand-made products.

When I'm not making custom leather products, I am probably goofing off with Luna. Together, we hit the trails at least once a week, work on our mounted fencing, and practice for our next eventing competition.
